  • Non-Invasive Analysis using advanced imaging and scientific techniques to authenticate and study artifacts without damage.

R&D Collaborations

  • Collaboration with research institutions, museums, and universities across Europe and the U.S.

  • Research with PhD research to promote understanding of archaeological artefacts.

Education & Dissemination

  • Engages in educational outreach, sharing research insights to enrich public and academic understanding.

  • Promotes awareness of archaeological sciences and ancient artistry.

Thetis’ Journey

  • Founded in 1999 as part of the first program supporting Women’s Entrepreneurship by GSRT, ministry of development.

  • Operational since 2000, THETIS set out to revive ancient ceramic craftsmanship. The first public exhibitions of new pieces reproducing the archaeological finds in the area was made using the ancient techniques. The collaboration can be seen at the Athens Acropolis Metro.

  • Early focus on authenticity and provenance, specializing in non-destructive analytical methods for museums and private collections.

  • Over the years, we developed niche expertise in ancient ceramic technology, combining scientific analysis with experimental reproduction.

  • Today, our work attracts global attention, balancing ancient techniques with modern innovations, from the “new technology” of the 1990s to today’s AI tools.
