Founded in 1999, THETIS Authentics Ltd specializes in ancient ceramic technology, artifact reproduction, and non-invasive analysis for archaeology and art conservation. Established in 2002, the THETIS Workshop produces high-quality ceramic replicas for museums, exhibitions, and collectors worldwide. In 2012, ATTIC BLACK, the company’s retail brand, launched to showcase handcrafted pottery inspired by Greek heritage. With a state-of-the-art laboratory in Athens, THETIS combines scientific research with traditional craftsmanship, collaborating with museums and universities to advance the study and preservation of ancient artifacts.

Chemist– Archaeological Scientist (PhD)
Dr. Eleni Aloupi specializes in the analysis and reproduction of ancient ceramic techniques. With a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (1993), she founded THETIS AUTHENTICS LTD, leading to the creation of ATTIC BLACK. Her expertise bridges scientific research with craftsmanship, collaborating with top institutions in Greece and abroad. Passionate about education, she mentors master's and Ph.D. students across Europe, promoting a multidisciplinary approach to archaeology and ceramic analysis.
